It isn't too often when I find a free useful tool to use in the classroom. When I do! I can't do anything else but play around and find multiple ways to use it for all age groups. Well, Padlet has piqued my interest and I am very excited to share it with you! Check out my own Padlet and get inspired to create one to use with your students. For a demonstration in the classroom, contact me with your subject matter, what you want to accomplish (objectives), a little brainstorming, and voila!
One of the most helpful blogs to me as a Technology Specialist is Free Technology for Teachers. Richard Byrnes always seems to post very useful information. Below is a link to his Practical Educational Technology Handbook. He generously allows anyone to download for free.
"In The Practical Ed Tech Handbook you will find resources arranged in seven categories; communication with students & parents, web search strategies, digital citizenship, video creation, audio production, backchannels & informal assessment, and digital portfolios." Richard Byrne
